Women's Leadership Symposium

The Women's Leadership Symposium for Intercollegiate Athletics is a two-day seminar and development initiative designed to provide an affordable, educational experience for professional women working in intercollegiate athletics and those students aspiring to enter the exciting field of college sports. Attendees will be able to enhance their skills, share ideas and meet new and interesting industry specialists.

The programs are geared for those involved in many areas of intercollegiate athletics, such as Athletic Directors, SWA's, Conference Office Personnel, Athletic Trainers, Compliance Directors, Coaches, Directors of CHAMPS & Life Skills programs, Directors of Campus SAAC programs, Academic Support Directors, Development, Marketing, Fundraising, and Communication and Sports Information Specialists.

The 2009 Women's Leadership Symposium for Intercollegiate Athletics will be held in Chicago Monday and Tuesday, May 11 and 12, at the Wyndham Drake Hotel. A variety of topics will be discussed at the seminar, including leadership and balancing life and work.

The Women's Leadership Symposium is sponsored by the Big Ten Conference, Mid-American Conference, and the Horizon League.
